Watch: Sri Lanka foriegn minister says core group failed to garner majority support at UNHRC vote

Sri Lankan’s Foreign minister Dinesh Gunawardhana says the UK led core group who brought the resolution on Sri Lanka has failed to get a majority at the council.

He later tweeted appreciating the nations which supported Sri Lanka.

The UNHRC adopted resolution against SriLanka with 22 countries voted in favor, 11 against and 14 abstained.
