Qatar Airways adds flights to Colombo and Dhaka

DOHA, Qatar, 21 August 2017: Qatar Airways continues to expand with new flights to Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.
Saying it is responding to robust demand from passengers it is increasing its Colombo service from four to five flights weekly effective 11 September.

The airline’s Dhaka service will also increase from two to three flights daily, also effective from 1 September 2017.

The additional nonstop, daily services to and from Colombo and Dhaka will use A320s, adding more than 1,000 seats to the current weekly capacity to and from both exciting destinations.

Qatar Airways Group chief executive, Akbar Al Baker said: “ The increased capacity on the Dhaka and Colombo routes represents a major commitment by Qatar Airways that demonstrates our long-term commitment to both countries.”

The Qatar Airways Airbus A320 features 12 business class seats and 132 seats in economy class.
