Island-wide travel restrictions from tomorrow until Monday in Sri Lanka

Government has imposed an island wide travel restrictions from 11pm tomorrow till 4am Monday, 17 May.

However transportation of food items and essential services will be allowed during this period.

Head of the National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO) stated that the travel restriction will commence at 11.00 pm tomorrow and continue until 04.00 am on Monday,

Vaccination Programme in the Western Province will also to be continued.
