Sri Lankan President Gotabaya Rajapaksa has written a reply to Opposition AND SJB Leader Sajith Premadasa’s letter which was sent earlier today offering to form a Government under several conditions.
President in his letter says since the Opposition Leader had rejected earlier offers he had discussed with other party leaders and had already decided to appoint Ranil Wickremesinghe as the Prime Minister. The President also says Opposition Leader was late to take a decision to become or accept Prime Minster’s post.
President also said that Opposition Leader’s letter had some new conditions which had not being agreed by party leaders yet.
The President also said SJB party members’ are welcome to be part of the future cabinet.
