MWH, now part of Stantec, is looking for a Quantity Surveyor for their Qatar operation. The Quantity Surveyor should have 10 years’ experience in all facets of quantity surveying including cost planning, quantity take-off, preparation of bills of quantities in CESMM format, estimating, tender and contract document production, report writing, claim evaluation/negotiation, general post contract administration, valuation of variations, agreement of new rates, Taking Over Certificates and Defects Liability. Certificates of Contracts related to infrastructure works. Relevant tertiary qualification(s); BSc QS preferred.

Professional Qualifications; e.g. MRICS
Bachelor’s Degree in in a Quantity Surveying Discipline from a recognized University to the approval of the Engineer.
Minimum 10 years’ experience in construction related quantity surveying.
Experience must include large scale sewage networks projects.
Experience in preparatory construction project monthly valuation.
Experience in assessing and valuating Contractor’s claims.
Cost Estimate, activity breakdown analysis.
