Sri Lanka all out for 135 in their first inning of the first test against England, today at the Galle International Cricket Stadium.
Sri Lanka’s poor batting line up once again exposed to quality bowling attack as the team were all out within two sessions of the first day of play after deciding to bat first.
This is the lowest total that Sri Lankan team were bowled out at this venue.
Previously Sri Lankans were all out for 181 against Pakistan in 2000.
Sri Lanka won the toss this morning and elected to bat after Dinesh Chandimal appointed as the captain for this match due to Sri Lanka’s regular skipper and opening batsman Dimuth Karunaratne fractured his thumb.
Scoreboard
Sri Lanka all out 135
Dinesh Chandimal 28
